Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves delivering essential services to high-risk patients in various stages of care, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and medical/surgical settings.

Required Qualifications

1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
Basic Life Support certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring.
Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws.
Knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin).
Ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.
Knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.
Familiarity with IStat.
Ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring.
Knowledge of newborn monitors, including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
Ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns.
Knowledge of newborn medication, including IV administration and maintenance.
Familiarity with Bili-blankets/lights and radiant warmers.
Ability to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training.
Ability to support maternal-newborn teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of labor and delivery experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of postpartum experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
