Senior Director, Leadership & Talent Development

Job Summary As a key member of the Talent Management team, the Sr. Director, Leadership & Talent Development will lead the assessment, design, development, and delivery of a comprehensive leadership and professional development strategy aligned with BCH’s strategic priorities. This role partners closely with Talent Management, HRBPs, and cross‑functional stakeholders to strengthen leadership capability, enhance performance, and advance a people‑centered culture. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of regular on‑site presence. Key Responsibilities Partner with the VP of Talent Management and stakeholders to design and implement leadership and professional development strategies, frameworks, and programs. Lead integration of the Leadership Capability Model across the talent lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Development, Promotions, and Succession Planning. Co‑develop executive development strategies aligned with enterprise business goals. Design and facilitate impactful learning experiences, including workshops, webinars, peer coaching, and communities of practice. Align leadership development initiatives with enterprise talent systems, including assessment tools, 360 feedback, talent reviews, and succession planning. Develop competency models supporting performance growth, career pathing, and workforce planning. Build and manage scalable professional development programs, including AI literacy and future‑ready skill development. Integrate leadership and talent development with employee experience priorities such as engagement, wellbeing, workforce development, and psychological safety. Oversee the Annual Mandatory Education Plan. Leverage Workday, LMS, AI, and digital tools to assess skill gaps, predict future skill needs, and support learning enablement strategies. Lead and evolve a scalable mentoring program. Develop leadership pathways for physician leaders. Serve on the Education Council and maintain alignment with continuing education requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 15+ years of related experience, including 5+ years managing staff. Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Expertise in adult learning, leadership development, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Proven ability to assess team dynamics and deliver customized leadership development solutions. Strong facilitation and executive presentation skills. Certification in one or more Five‑Factor psychometric assessments (e.g., Hogan) and a team effectiveness methodology (e.g., Lencioni). Experience designing and delivering 360‑degree feedback and HiPo development programs. Experience building competency models in large, complex organizations. Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and influencing skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and guide decision‑making in evolving environments. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Excellent meeting facilitation and written communication skills.
