Beamline Welding Machine Operator 2nd Shift #WeRackTheWorld The warehouse of the future contains high-density, high-precision racking with automated pallet shuttles (like our atlas 1D ) instead of wide aisles that forklifts need to pass through. Our customers benefit from much better utilization of their warehouses (up to 70% more pallet storage than traditional rack!), maximized vertical space, improved accuracy in pallet selection, and minimized labor costs and product damage. Over the span of more than 40 years, we’ve grown into a company with 10 manufacturing facilities, 19 commercial offices, and the know-how of around 2000 employees serving customers in 40 countries. We Rack the World. Early 2021, we opened our first U.S. Office in Romeoville, IL and we have already grown to over 70 employees. Location: United States Knowledge of the operation of machines Capable of running Welding robots: handling, positioning robots, modifying welding positioning with supervisor permission Knowledge of TCP Torch Control Utilize the spare parts for small interventions on robots, contact tip, gas nozzle, gas distributors Perform quality checks tape measure, bench and measuring station, automatic weld control camera and hook control camera Setup & operation: Load/unload parts, position workpieces using jigs/fixtures, and initiate the robotic welding process Programming: Input and adjust parameters (power, speed, pattern) for the robot controller based on engineering specs Quality control: Visually inspect welds, use measuring tools (gauges, calipers), and remove spatter to ensure parts meet specifications Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep like cleaning nozzles, changing wire/tips, lubricating, and reporting malfunctions Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve errors or system malfunctions during production runs Documentation: Complete production logs, downtime reports, and quality records Safety & housekeeping: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and wear required PPE Qualifications Qualifications : Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus. Experience: Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing. Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of measuring tools. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, good problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing ) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of automated systems. Basic manual welding skills (MIG/TIG) often required, certificates is a plus Strong attention to detail and precision. Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting. Physical ability to lift and move parts. Additional information What do we offer you?
