Position Overview & Benefits
- Compensation: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on experience)
- Schedule: 1st Shift (Consistent, reliable daytime hours)
- Location: Troy, MI
- Equipment & Technology: Okuma Lathes paired with Fanuc Controls
- Specialized Work: High-precision turning and specialized gear cutting
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC Okuma lathes using Fanuc controls.
- Perform complex machining operations, including precision turning and gear cutting.
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and job routing sheets accurately.
- Inspect your own parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain tight tolerances.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience programming or operating CNC lathes (Fanuc control experience required).
- Familiarity with or strong desire to learn gear cutting processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and math skills.
- A quality-first mindset with reliable attendance.
