Your Key Accountabilities Delivers expert work in EHS with high quality and timeliness, applying best practices and standards. Owns complex tasks in EHS regulations & procedures, environmental compliance and/or sustainability producing accurate outputs and identifying risks or anomalies proactively. Analyzes problems, recommends options, and implements improvements in methods, tools, or data flows. Collaborates with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly. Mentors less experienced colleagues, reviewing deliverables and elevating team standards. Develops and executes specific EHS and/or Safety domain(s). Who we are looking for Qualifications & Experience Education: Technical Bachelor or Master Degree (process, chemistry, metallurgy, engineering...) ideally completed by some training in Safety prevention or Environmental studies (but not a must) 10 to 15 years of EHS experience of which at least 5 in a production & plant environment experience Technical skills: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Responsible for protecting the environment (air, water, land) Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), enforces environmental laws within Texas; works alongside the EPA but focuses on state-level compliance. Good understanding/knowledge of chemical and metallurgical processes and associated risks. Having implemented safety prevention programs in industrial environment is a plus Practical experience with HAZOP, ATEX regulations and other relevant prevention programs & regulations Knowledge of the process and risk-based approach Knowledge of the requirements of ISO14001, 45001 and 9001 to the extent necessary to manage the assigned process Proficient with PC tools as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of more advanced digital tools, such as PowerBi is a plus Good written and oral communication skills Ability to phrase concepts in a structured and clear manner Able to change attitudes and to create acceptance to change Ability to convince without formal authority Personal skills Enthusiastic team player with an open "can do" mentality Good communication skills & good team leading Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems Committed to results Structured Can work in a multicultural environment Proven ability to coordinate teams and projects Self-driven to excellence Not easily discouraged by resistance to change and inertia Willing to coach/mentor What we offer We aim to lead the way.
