Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, which encompass physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing surgical areas, ensuring patient positioning, and assisting with instrument transfers during operations
• Deliver exceptional care before and after surgery, including medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly desirable

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
