Location: Columbus, MS | Payrate: $17/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support a world-class aerospace industry leader. In this position, you’ll help ensure aerospace materials, components, and shipments are received, stocked, picked, packed, and delivered accurately and efficiently to support production schedules and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

As a Material Handler, you’ll support daily warehouse operations while helping maintain the flow of critical aerospace materials throughout the facility.

Receiving

• Receive vendor purchase orders and verify shipment quantities against Airway Bills and Bills of Lading

• Process and receive purchase orders into SAP

• Bag, label, and organize materials as required

• Match goods receipt documentation to incoming parts and inventory

Stocking

• Stock parts and materials using handheld scanners in accordance with warehouse procedures

• Organize inventory accurately and efficiently to support operational needs

• Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization standards

Picking & Shipping

• Pick delivery notes and customer orders based on priority using handheld scanners

• Prepare and process shipments in SAP according to warehouse procedures

• Ensure materials are shipped accurately and on schedule to meet customer requirements

• Coordinate packing and shipment priorities to support production and operational timelines

Packing

• Pack materials physically and systematically following warehouse procedures

• Verify shipment accuracy and packaging quality

• Support shipping activities while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of three (3) years of related warehouse experience

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs./23 kgs.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or covered under existing ITAR license)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior SAP experience

• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated warehouse environments

• Familiarity with handheld scanning systems and warehouse inventory procedures

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
