Service Desk Coordinator / IT Dispatcher (Entry-Level MSP) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Opportunity We are seeking an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Service Desk Coordinator / IT Dispatcher to join a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Carrollton, TX. This organization has been supporting businesses for over 30 years, providing managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity services to clients nationwide. This is an entry-level opportunity, and extensive IT experience is not required! Whether you’re a recent graduate, have completed an IT internship, worked in a help desk environment, or have some exposure to a Managed Service Provider, this could be an excellent opportunity to begin building your career in the IT industry. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technology but is more interested in the coordination, organization, customer service, and operational side of IT rather than hands‑on troubleshooting or engineering. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, management, and clients to help coordinate daily service requests, schedule technical resources, and keep operations running smoothly. Training and guidance will be provided as you become familiar with the organization’s systems, processes, and service delivery operations. What You’ll Be Doing Assist with coordinating daily service desk operations and managing incoming IT support requests. Help schedule engineers, assign tickets, and organize service appointments. Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding scheduling, ticket updates, and service requests. Monitor incoming support tickets and help prioritize requests based on urgency and client needs. Work with technical engineers and management to coordinate onsite and remote support assignments. Maintain accurate engineer calendars, service schedules, and ticket information. Learn and utilize ConnectWise , a widely used MSP service management platform. Follow up with clients and internal teams to ensure service requests are progressing. Assist with coordinating urgent support requests and escalations. Help maintain accurate documentation and communication across the service desk. Support the overall efficiency and organization of the technical support team. What We’re Looking For 0–1+ years of experience — recent graduates and entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. Interest in technology, IT support, managed services, or service desk operations. Some exposure to an IT environment through employment, internships, education, or technical training. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Comfortable speaking with clients, coworkers, and technical professionals. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and an interest in understanding how IT support teams operate. Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Carrollton, TX. Prior dispatching experience is not required. Additional Experience That Stands Out Exposure to a Managed Service Provider (MSP). Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Autotask, Zendesk, or ServiceNow. Experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or administrative coordination. Coursework or training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Basic understanding of IT terminology and technical support processes. Interest in pursuing a career in IT service delivery, operations, or service management. Base Salary: $45,000–$50,000 annually.
