Gastroenterologist OpportunityThe facility is a well-established, full-service regional medical center serving the greater Renton community and surrounding areas. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services supported by advanced diagnostic and endoscopic technology.The role focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. The physician will collaborate closely with primary care providers, surgeons, hospitalists, and oncology teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based digestive care. Both experienced Gastroenterologists and strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.Essential ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBD, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and colorectal conditionsPerform endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic interventionsEvaluate and manage inpatient GI consults as neededInterpret imaging, pathology, and laboratory results related to digestive healthCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery and oncologyProvide patient education on disease prevention, nutrition, and treatment plansMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMRParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical guidelinesQualificationsEducation: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolTraining: Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowshipBoard Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in GastroenterologyLicensure: Active Washington State medical license (or eligibility)Experience: Open to experienced physicians and new graduatesCompensationSalary is open to discussion and commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits packageEmployed, full-time position within a supportive clinical environment
