Job Type:RegularWork Location:Samsung Experience Store 8001 - Glendale, CA 91210Overview:2020 Companies has a full-time opportunity representing Samsung Electronics America as an SMB Sales Specialist within Samsung Experience Stores.In this role, you will serve as the in-store SMB lead, focused on driving incremental business revenue by identifying and engaging small and medium business customers. You will leverage strong consultative selling skills to uncover customer needs, recommend tailored solutions, and convert opportunities into measurable results.This position blends retail sales execution with SMB business development, requiring you to balance daily customer engagement on the sales floor with proactive lead generation and follow-up. You will also play a key role in supporting store teams in recognizing SMB opportunities, helping elevate overall business customer engagement across the location.The ideal candidate is a sales-driven, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is comfortable managing a pipeline of opportunities, and is motivated by driving measurable business results.What's in it for you?Competitive hourly pay, $25 per hour, based on experience and locationCommission/incentive opportunity based on performanceWeekly payHealth, Dental, and Vision benefits401(k) program with company matchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee discounts on Samsung productsCareer growth and development opportunities within 2020 CompaniesOpportunity for occasional travel based on business needs (no remote work; role is primarily store-based)Job Description:SMB Revenue GrowthDrive incremental SMB sales through active customer engagement, prospecting, and follow-upOwn and contribute to an annual SMB revenue target (~$300K+ incremental revenue)Clearly distinguish SMB-driven revenue from standard consumer salesCustomer Experience & Sales ExecutionDeliver a premium, consultative experience tailored to business customersActively engage on the sales floor, support daily transactions, and build larger basketsParticipate in peak traffic periods, launches, and high-volume sales eventsLead Generation & Pipeline ManagementIdentify SMB opportunities through walk-in traffic, referrals, and approved outreach methods, including phone and email follow-upCapture and maintain organized lead tracking with clear follow-up actionsMaintain consistent pipeline activity to drive conversion and revenue growthSolution Selling & Business DiscoveryConduct discovery to understand business needs, device usage, and growth opportunitiesRecommend tailored solutions across Samsung’s ecosystem (mobile, tablets, PCs, accessories, services)Position Samsung products as business solutions, not just consumer devicesSMB Leadership (Non-Managerial Influence)Act as the in-store SMB subject matter expert, leading SMB opportunity identification and engagementSupport and guide associates in recognizing business customers through effective discovery questionsEncourage consistent SMB lead capture behaviors across the store teamPartner with store leadership to ensure SMB opportunities are surfaced and followed throughLead by example through strong consultative selling and customer engagementWhile not a people leader, this role plays a critical part in shaping how the store identifies and captures SMB opportunitiesStore-Based ExecutionMaintain a strong presence on the sales floor while balancing SMB follow-up and opportunity developmentRemain fully engaged on the sales floor by personally selling, supporting customer traffic, building solution-based baskets, assisting during launch and peak periods, and contributing to overall store performance when not actively working SMB leadsAssist with store operations, customer flow, and maintaining a premium retail environmentReporting & AccountabilityTrack and report SMB pipeline, lead activity, and revenue performanceMaintain accurate documentation of opportunities, follow-ups, and outcomesPartner with leadership on weekly and monthly performance insights and business updatesMonitor progress against goals and adjust approach to drive resultsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, wireless, consumer electronics, or other customer-facing sales environmentsProven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a performance-driven environmentStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsAbility to engage customers, identify needs, and recommend appropriate products and solutionsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail environmentAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyFlexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periodsAbility to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all customer and business interactionsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPreferred QualificationsExperience in small or medium-sized business (SMB) or B2B sales environmentsExperience with lead generation, prospecting, or pipeline managementExposure to CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar systemsBackground in wireless, technology, or solution-based sellingExperience working with multiple product categories and building bundled or solution-based salesDemonstrated ability to influence peers and support team success without direct authorityWhat You Can Expect From 2020 CompaniesWe welcome every voice, and we are committed to building a truly inclusive environment where your differences are not just welcomed, they are celebrated.
