What We Are Looking For

A detail-oriented and service-focused professional to support the accuracy and integrity of donor and financial data across multiple donation platforms. This individual will serve an important role in reconciling donation system integrations, processing donor transactions, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping within Salesforce.

Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this person will investigate and resolve discrepancies, validate donation information, and help support timely financial reporting and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining exceptional accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

Transaction Reconciliation and Data Integrity

• Download and reconcile daily transaction data from donation platforms to Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud
• Reconcile transactions from platforms including Springboard, GoFundMe Pro, Apple Pay, PayPal, credit card processors, and ACH integrations
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, integration errors, and data-quality issues
• Verify that donation and financial information is complete, accurate, and properly recorded
• Document unresolved issues and coordinate with appropriate internal teams or external partners to facilitate resolution

Donation Processing and Gift Administration

• Accurately and efficiently process donation data from individual donors and organizations
• Review and interpret donor-provided information and correspondence related to Prison Fellowship programs, campaigns, and designated or specialty gifts
• Apply established procedures to ensure donations are accurately coded and recorded in Salesforce
• Process donation batches timely to support monthly close deadlines
• Maintain established standards for data accuracy, quality, and productivity

Financial Reconciliation and Month-End Support

• Support month-end close activities related to donation processing and reconciliation
• Process and reconcile returns, refunds, chargebacks, and other transaction adjustments
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Research and Issue Resolution

• Research account questions and transaction issues as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain information and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate findings and ensure issues are resolved accurately and timely

Key Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of accounting or account reconciliation experience
• 2-5 years of data entry experience
• Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to enter, review, and reconcile data with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
• Proven ability to interpret donor instructions and apply established gift-processing procedures
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily processing and monthly close deadlines
• Ability to handle donor and financial information with appropriate confidentiality

Work Arrangement

• Remote/work-from-home position
• Up to 5% travel required

Salary at Prison Fellowship is determined by a variety of factors. For this full-time position, the rate of pay is projected to be between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour.
