Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit during overnight hours. Ensure patient safety and comfort through attentive monitoring and effective intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient care activities and observations in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to acute patient needs and emergent situations.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, safety, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California Registered Nurse license.
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Demonstrate at least one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Provide proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months.
• Possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
