Position summary Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst II. This role is contingent upon award of contract. What will you do in this role? Provide technical expertise and support for financial-related projects. Develop solutions, reports, studies, documentation, and presentation materials. Support client meetings and stakeholder engagements. Review and analyze financial and budgetary data to identify discrepancies. Maintain records of activities to track workload and forecast future resource needs. Apply knowledge of federal financial, acquisition, and accounting policies, standards, and systems. Develop reports, documentation, and analyses to support operational effectiveness and informed decision-making. Support accurate transaction processing, financial reporting, and customer service through knowledge of federal financial systems, processes, and controls. What do you need to succeed in this role? On-site in Washington, DC daily. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated understanding of federal financial management processes. Strong communication and software application skills. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Highly desired. Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) - Highly desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) - Highly desired. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Teams). Familiarity with federal financial systems such as Momentum preferred. Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred. In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $ 101,000 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
