This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program. The selected candidate will be part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) BU in the AVSI Systems Engineering Directorate, specifically supporting the Advanced Concepts, Enablers, & IFC (AC/E/IFC) Department. This position may offer a competitive relocation package.What You’ll Get To Do:As a Systems Engineer Manager, you will serve as the functional leader for a group of members within the AC/E/IFC department. The functional team will be spread across multiple locations. This position is a dual-hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as the individual's current program responsibilities on program. As a Section Manager you will be expected to spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities with 80% of your efforts focused on a technical assignment on an SDS project. This particular role is for functional responsibilities only, the candidate is expected to come with work scope already established on the program which will comprise 80% of their time. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
