CNC Mill Set-Up Operator

Job Description

The CNC Mill Set-Up Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring precise and efficient machining operations within a small to medium production team. This role involves setting up CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts from various materials such as metals and plastics. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential to maintain productivity and product excellence.

Responsibilities

Set up CNC milling machines for production runs
Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly
Follow and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in CNC machining
Proficient in CNC machine operation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of G-code programming
Experienced with calipers and micrometers for precise measurements
