We are looking for an On-Site Office Accountant to manage our daily financial operations, handle billing transactions, and keep our hotel's accounts balanced and accurate. Responsibilities include processing direct refunds, managing account transfers, overseeing check writing, and running standard daily accounting routines. If you have strong numerical skills, a high attention to detail, and experience in hotel or hospitality accounting, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Process direct guest and vendor refunds, account transfers, and daily billing adjustments

• Issue, track, and record check payments for accounts payable and operational expenses

• Perform daily financial responsibilities 

• Maintain and assist with monthly financial closing tasks

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure timely collection and payment

• Verify monthly revenue, payment transactions, and other financials 

• Ensure accurate charges, discounts, and payment methods are in place

• Collaborate with front desk and management staff to resolve billing discrepancies and guest account inquiries

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or similar role (hospitality industry preferred)

• Hands-on experience with accounting and property management/reservation software (e.g., RNS)

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general financial operations

• High proficiency with numbers, spreadsheets, and record-keeping

• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and a professional problem-solving attitude
