Quality Inspector II

Quality Inspector IIAscentec is hiring! Do you have strong attention to detail skills? We are looking for a Quality Inspector II to join our team! This is a critical position within the company and presents a great opportunity for someone to provide final assurance to all our valued customers that their products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a manufacturing setting, but this is not required.Two shifts are available:Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.This position is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.Job ResponsibilitiesReceiving, In-process and Final inspectionsPrimary operator for the dedicated metrology equipment Optical comparator etc.Job Qualifications / Experience and Technical SkillsAbility to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&TIntermediate experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.Visual Product Inspections Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material partsExperience with operating manual and/or automated CMMGenerate Clear and concise Non-conformance ReportsAbility to work overtimePreference will be given to candidates with prior machinist experiencePersonal QualificationsSelf-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail OrientedReliable and dependablePositive customer focused attitudeEnjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environmentHonest with stellar integrityProfessional demeanor and respectful to people in all situationsFlexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change oftenTeam playerCompensation/Benefits$18 to $26 per hour DOE and shift selected401k with company match up to 4%Tiered Quarterly Bonus ProgramShort-term and Long-term DisabilityTuition Assistance or ReimbursementLife InsurancePaid time off / paid holidaysEmployee Reimbursement ProgramApplicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
