Fiber Optic Technician Position Overview We are seeking detail-oriented Fiber Optic Technicians to support a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment focused on advanced fiber optic products. This role involves precision assembly, inspection, testing, documentation, and quality control within a laboratory and production setting. Successful candidates will receive training on fiber optic processes and will have the opportunity to work across multiple stages of the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities Perform precision fiber optic assembly and manufacturing tasks. Utilize microscopes, stripping tools, crimpers, epoxies, and other specialized assembly equipment. Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure product quality and compliance. Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Record production results, measurements, and build documentation using Excel and internal tracking systems. Troubleshoot assembly and process issues and communicate concerns to technical teams. Rotate across multiple workstations and develop proficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
