Job Details: Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - Marceline, MO 64628, Job Summary: As an Accounting Clerk I, you are responsible for the pre-invoicing of assigned products in a timely manner as well as for daily ledger updates and daily filing. Essential Functions: Daily filing, mailing and correspondence. Receives e-mails to update billing address changes. Enter charges when received. Create revised invoice or down payment invoices for customer. Create invoice when instructions received by sales rep. Enter shipping charges weekly from internet download. Move/put books in order in library. Contact sales reps concerning any discrepancies in list cost. Enter charges such as Creative service artwork, cover/endsheet art, autograph supplement. Work up books received that have shipped. Assists with filing, file maintenance, mailings of statements and deposit notices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects. Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis. Ability to work with limited direction and supervision, while demonstrating good judgment and strict confidence. Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position. Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills. Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
