Registered Nurse (RN) - Postpartum / Mother-Baby Care
Join a dedicated nursing team specializing in the care of high-risk obstetric patients and postpartum care utilizing magnesium sulfate. This opportunity is designed for skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) focused on providing exceptional mother-baby couplet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to postpartum patients and infants, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with feedings, soothing, and changing babies as directed in the NICU.
- Perform necessary assessments and interventions in the L&D unit during recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a relevant specialty.
- Current certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Strong ability to float between units, providing care as needed.
Work Details
- Ratios: 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio.
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).
- No block schedules available.
- Free parking is provided for all staff.
- Charting System: Epic.
