Collaborative environment: Their culture emphasizes collaboration with accessibility across all levels; employees can reach out to the CFO, other leaders, and even the CEO without hierarchical barriers The firm does a great job recognizing hard work and initiative, with career path opportunities emerging from a restructuring that allows employees to make a visible impact Employee-focused culture: The company cares about employees, with an average tenure of 7+ years worked for the organization What you'll do: Own a meaningful piece of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close — this is a close-heavy seat that will play an imperative role within the accounting team Prepare and review complex journal entries, then dig into the "why" behind variances rather than just booking them Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and GL accounts, resolving discrepancies at the root cause Serve as a go-to resource on close-related questions for other departments, and work collaboratively with other teams in the organization Get hands-on exposure to audits, tax filings, financial statement preparation, and help shape the internal controls around close as the team grows What they're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge Experience in a regulated industry is a plus, not required Competitive base salary plus bonus, along with full medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off will be offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr StevenDouglas
