Customer Service Representative

About The Role As a Customer Service Representative with Best Block you are responsible for: Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customers (walk-in and call-in) Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining the products we sell Accurate and detailed order entry, input customer information, pricing and additional data Build and maintain relationships with repeat customer and accounts Coordinate closely with dispatch to schedule deliveries and manage customer expectations Communicate clearly with customers regarding order status, lead times and changes Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain knowledge of products and their applications and know major competitor product lines. Assist with Centralized Dispatch and maintain delivery fleet compliance requirements About You Minimum education required: High School Diploma with average to above math skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Available to work 40 or more hours per week Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Good organizational and communication skills Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail Good interpersonal and customer relation skills Must be able to walk throughout material yards Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 lbs on a consistent basis and 50 lbs or more on a random basis.
