About the Role We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our FX Derivatives Operations team. The Operations team is responsible for the middle- and back-office functions supporting MFX's derivatives business, including trade processing, confirmations, settlements, collateral management, counterparty administration, and operational reporting. Working closely with Senior Analysts and the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will support the full lifecycle of FX derivative transactions while interacting with internal teams, international counterparties, and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities Trade Operations & Settlements Support the end-to-end processing of FX derivative transactions, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and ongoing monitoring. Ensure accurate and timely execution of contractual payment obligations, including accounts receivable and payable. Reconcile transaction records, settlement instructions, and cash movements. Maintain accurate transaction documentation and operational records. Counterparty & Collateral Management Assist with day-to-day management of counterparty relationships and operational requirements. Monitor collateral requirements and support collateral administration, including margin calls and related reconciliations. Assist with ISDA documentation, transaction confirmations, and related administrative processes. Respond to operational inquiries from clients and counterparties. Risk, Reporting & Compliance Support the preparation of operational and risk management reports. Assist with transaction monitoring, reconciliation, and exception resolution. Support internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit-related activities. Help maintain accurate data across trading, accounting, and operational systems. Process Improvement & Team Support Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Risk, Finance, and Trading. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, and reporting processes. Contribute to the development and documentation of operational procedures. Participate in initiatives supporting MFX's continued growth and business development. Qualifications & Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and develop an understanding of financial instruments and derivatives markets. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services, banking operations, treasury, or derivatives operations. Familiarity with foreign exchange markets, swaps, forwards, or other financial instruments. Exposure to trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations, or collateral administration. Understanding of ISDA agreements and derivatives documentation. Experience with financial systems, trade management platforms, or accounting applications.
