HR Coordinator (payroll focus)

Description PerimeterSecurityPartners(“PSP”)islookingforadetail-orientedandmotivatedHumanResourcesCoordinatortosupporttheaccurateandtimelyprocessingofthecompany’sweeklyandsemi-monthlypayrollsandrelateddocumentation.TheHRCoordinatorisalsoresponsibleforsupportingtheDirectorofHumanResourceswithotherHRdepartmentfunctionslikeexpensereportprocessing,newhireonboarding,andbenefitsadministration.ThisrolereportsdirectlytotheDirectorofHumanResourceswhileinteractingwithAccountingandotherdepartmentsthroughoutthecompanyinacollaborativeworkenvironment. Duties Assistwithprocessingthecompany’sweeklypayrollby: Reviewingtimesheetsforaccuracy Confirmingtimesheetsincludeallnecessaryinformation Resolvetimesheetwarningsforoverlappingtime,excessovertime,ortimeoffhoursoverlappingwithhoursworked Validatepayratesandperdiemforaccuracy Assistwithprocessingthecompany’ssemi-monthlypayrollbyobtainingjobinformationtoallocatetimeproperlyandenteringanyemployeeexpenserecoups. Assistwiththedevelopmentofcertifiedpayrollreports. Assistwiththereviewofemployeecreditcardexpensedataforpersonalcharges. Trackandvalidatesicktime,vacationtime,andpaid-time-offbalances. Managecompanyuniforminventorylevels,coordinateorderingandreplenishment,maintainaccuraterecordsofissueduniforms. Supporttheadministrationandoversightofthecompanyfleet,includingvehicleregistrations,inspections,recalls,tollaccounts,tollviolations,EZ-Passadministration,andmaintenancerequestsandauthorizeddriverlist. ServeasasubjectmatterexpertforFamilyandMedicalLeaveAct(FMLA)matters,providingguidancetoemployeesandmanagers,coordinatingrequireddocumentation,trackingleavestatus,andensuringcompliancewithapplicablefederalandcompanyrequirements. Serveasasubjectmatterexpertforthecompany’sHumanResourcesInformationSystem(HRIS),assistingwithsystem-relatedquestionsandtroubleshooting.Providetrainingandongoingsupporttoemployeesandmanagerstopromoteeffectiveandconsistentuseofthesystem. AssistwiththeadministrationandmaintenanceofCertificatesofInsurance(COIs),includingcoordinatingrequests,trackingexpirationdates,maintainingaccuraterecords,andcommunicatingwithinternalandexternalstakeholdersasneeded. Coordinateandadministerthecompany’sCommonAccessCard(CAC)program,includingemployeeenrollment,documentation,cardstatustracking,renewals,andcoordinationwithapplicablegovernmentorcustomerrequirements. Assistwithmaintainingaprofessional,organized,andmeeting-readyofficeenvironment.Coordinatepreparationofconferenceroomsandcommonareasformeetings,visitors,candidates,customers,andcompanyevents,ensuringtheofficeconsistentlypresentsaprofessionalimage. ProvidegeneralHRandadministrativesupportasneeded,assistingwithemployeerecords,complianceactivities,internalprocesses,andspecialprojectstosupporttheeffectiveoperationoftheorganization. Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications Minimumof2yearsofexperienceinpayrollprocessing,humanresources,accounting,orasimilarroleisrequired. Minimumof4yearsofexperienceinaprofessionalworkenvironmentisrequired. Abilitytounderstandandapplypayrolllawsandregulationsisrequired. StrongprovenMSExcelskillsarerequiredwithintermediateproficiencywithotherMSOfficeapplications. ExperiencewiththeapplicationofFederalwageraterequirementstoincludeServiceContractActandDavis-BaconActishighlydesired. Excellentmathematicalandorganizationalskillsarerequired. Integrity,reliability,andtheabilitytomaintainconfidentialityisrequired. Mustpossessstronginterpersonalskills,includingprofessionalwrittenandverbalcommunication. MustbeabletoworkintheUnitedStateswithoutsponsorship. Mustbeabletopassabackgroundcheckanddrugtestthatwillpermitaccesstomilitaryinstallationsaresimilarcontrolledareas.
