The Teller Supervisor oversees all teller activities in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch. This position is also responsible for the delivery of outstanding client service and for developing and maintaining client relationships by recognizing referral opportunities for additional products and other lines of business. This is an advanced position and will supervise five or more Tellers.

• Provides client account services by processing deposits, loan payments, mortgage payments, credit card payments, escrow payments, cash advances, check cashing, selling cashier's checks, proof transactions, and buying or selling foreign currency.
• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.
• Collaborates with the appropriate senior-level manager on the selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, and termination of branch employees.
• Utilizes 360View to process activities, incidents, and referrals to business partners and other lines of business.
• Complies with bank operations and security procedures, including participating in all dual-control functions, maintaining client traffic surveys, auditing other teller currency, and assisting in certification of proof.
• Contributes to client service and overall bank success by welcoming new, different, and related requests, and by collaborating with others to accomplish results.
• Completes operational responsibilities such as reconciliations, audits, and reviews.
• Enhances job knowledge by attending training sessions.
• Demonstrates strong product knowledge and proficiency with client-facing systems.
• Completes work accurately with minimal errors.
• Participates in volunteer activities and financial education efforts.

Performs supervisory responsibilities in branches with five or more Tellers.

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Uses tact and diplomacy effectively when interacting with clients and coworkers.
• Possesses working knowledge of personal computers, including Word and Excel, with strong 10-key skills.
• Maintains working knowledge of digital platforms, CRM systems, and emerging technologies.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of clients or employees.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Able to compute rates and percentages and draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Able to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Follows all check-handling and cash-handling standards, meeting or exceeding bank cash-balancing requirements.
• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations related to assigned job functions and applies regulatory standards appropriately.
• Stays current on regulatory changes and follows all bank policies and procedures.
• Completes all required annual and job-specific training.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 4-6 years experience in a cash handling and customer service role required
