This is an exciting opportunity to build a thriving practice while working alongside a collaborative team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation professionals, and dedicated support staff.As part of our expanding orthopedic practice, you'll provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care utilizing advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches. This role offers state-of-the-art technology, a robust referral network, and the support needed to develop a successful, patient-centered practice.Position Highlights:Full-time, hospital-employed position operating as Fulton Montgomery Medical, P.C.Regional orthopedic partnership serving 100,000+ residents across multiple countiesHigh-demand orthopedic service line with consistent case volume and growth opportunitiesStrong referral base from an extensive primary care and specialty networkCollaborative orthopedic team including fellowship-trained specialists and APP supportState-of-the-art facilities equipped with advanced imaging, rehabilitation services, and the Da Vinci XI Robotic Surgery SystemResponsibilities:Diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions through both surgical and non-surgical approachesPerform orthopedic surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety, quality, and outcomesProvide outpatient clinic services, inpatient rounding, and surgical coverageCollaborate with orthopedic colleagues, physical therapists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plansEducate patients and families on treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive measuresMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsParticipate in quality initiatives and stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgeryQualifications:Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Must obtain New York State medical license prior to start date.Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program.Preferred Experience - Prior experience in Bone & Joint Surgery, Adult Reconstruction, and/or Total Joint Replacement is preferred but not requiredSkills - Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary - $641K - $712K (commensurate with experience)Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and performance incentives.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plans with employer contributionsRelocation assistance and CME allowancePotential eligibility for loan repayment programs due to our HPSA designationComplexity of Work:This role requires advanced clinical expertise, surgical precision, and the ability to manage patients with diverse orthopedic needs.
