Pharmacist Position at GapRx 340B Consultants, LLCGapRx 340B Consultants, LLC offers a variety of solutions to federally qualified health centers around consulting and management of in-house & contract pharmacies and meeting their compliance needs.Position SummaryUnder moderate direction, coordinates and supervises pharmacy services including preparation, administration and dispensing of drugs, supplies, and equipment, preparation of non-sterile products and clinical pharmacy services. The job entails a high level of responsibility and knowledge. A pharmacist does not merely hand out prescribed medicine; he/she has the expertise and willingness to assist people and provide them with information and solutions. The pharmacist must be fully qualified to interpret symptoms so that the patient can either be given immediate treatment for a trifling condition or to be referred to the suitable doctor. Pharmacists must be able to provide professional advice on cosmetics or parapharmaceuticals. The goal is to ensure effective medication use and become the people's trusted ally against health issues. That way you can deliver maximum value to both the pharmacy and society.Skills and QualificationsMinimum of two years experience as a pharmacistDegree in Pharmacy (Pharm. D or RPh) from an accredited college of pharmacyCurrently licensed as a registered pharmacist in state of pharmacyPossess the necessary supervisory/management skills and/or experience to supervise the pharmacyTeam playerProblem solverThorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Pharmacy information systemsGood organizing and time-management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a customers, clients, and employeesIntegrity and compassionDependable in attendance and job performanceResponsibilitiesReview and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legalityOrganize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and fasterMaintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deteriorationListen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and adviceProvide assistance and other medical services such as immunizations, blood pressure measurements, medication therapy management (MTM), etc.Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patientKeep records of patient history and of all activities regarding medicationSupervises, directs, and coordinates all pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy techniciansCreates plan to mitigate risks of Direct and Indirect Renumeration (DIR) Fees by focusing heavily on quality and complianceComply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and proceduresAny other duties related to the pharmacist role as requiredJob Type: ContractSalary: From $55.00 per hourAbility to commute/relocate:West Burlington, IA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)License/Certification:Iowa Pharmacist License (Required)Work Location: In personSalary: $55 - $65 per hour
