Service Consultant

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer. Education High School Experience 1-3 years Additional Information Under limited supervision, the service advisor provides estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance. Through effective communication with customers, the service advisor determines the services necessary, predicts the time needed for completion and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process.
