Named the #1 Firm to Work For by Zweig Group, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that improve communities while fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and work-life balance.## **What You'll Do:*** Perform civil engineering design and technical analysis for a variety of land development projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, mixed-use, and energy developments* Prepare and review site development plans, grading plans, utility plans, and construction documents* Design and analyze stormwater management systems, drainage and conveyance infrastructure, erosion and sediment control measures, site grading and earthwork, roadway and access improvements, and utility infrastructure systems* Coordinate permitting efforts and prepare applications for municipal, county, and state review agencies* Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project delivery activities* Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams* Conduct site visits and field investigations as needed* Assist with proposal preparation, technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation* Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while continuing professional development## **What You Bring:*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program* 4-8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development and site design* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress* Experience preparing land development plans and permit applications* Knowledge of site layout and design, stormwater management, grading and drainage design, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and local and state permitting processes* Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D* Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is a plus* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing effectively to project teams**Salary Range:**The compensation range starts at $86,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.**Benefits:*** Flexible Work Environment* Paid Parental Leave* Medical* Dental* Vision* Life and AD&D Insurance* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability* 401(k) with Company Match* Paid Time Off + Holidays*Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
