Job Summary:

The Pricing Analyst is a data-driven role responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining pricing strategy for the company’s parts and repair vendor network. This role uses data from ERP, sales, and market sources to ensure pricing is competitive, profitable, and aligned with current market conditions. This role involves minimal travel, primarily for occasional vendor or customer meetings, and coordinates closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Vendor Development teams to support quoting, margin analysis, and pricing policy decisions across rotable, repairable, and consumable part lines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing strategy – analyze vendor costs, market data, competitive benchmarks, and historical pricing performance to establish and adjust pricing for parts and repair services across Government and Commercial business.
• Develop pricing and cost models – build data-driven pricing models, cost estimates, and “should-cost” models to validate pricing, support proposals, evaluate repair management costs over multi-year periods, and assess long-term pricing requirements.
• Support Government pricing and proposals – build pricing models for Government proposals, including firm-fixed pricing over multi-year periods, and support proposal management and pricing reviews.
• Incorporate Economic Price Adjustments (EPA) – evaluate and incorporate applicable Economic Price Adjustments into Government pricing and proposal activities.
• Ensure Government pricing compliance – support compliance with applicable Government pricing requirements, including TINA/Certified Cost or Pricing Data requirements and other contractual pricing requirements.
• Benchmark pricing against competitors – analyze competitor pricing, catalogue quotes, win/loss activity, pricing trends, and market conditions to identify pricing risks and opportunities. •
• Identify Commercial pricing risks and review package offerings – evaluate package offerings and associated pricing risks to support competitive and profitable Commercial pricing decisions.
• Incorporate cost accounting standards into pricing – evaluate direct and indirect costs, including repair, freight, crating, and other applicable costs, to support accurate cost estimates, pricing, and margin decisions.
• Analyze part demand and long-term sustainment – evaluate part demand, historical activity, and market conditions to support long-term sustainment, pricing, and product offering decisions.
• Price Commercial product offerings – develop and evaluate pricing for Boeing packages, push lists, catalogue product offerings, and other Commercial pricing opportunities.
• Conduct margin and profitability analysis – monitor gross margin performance by part, customer, and product line and identify pricing risks or opportunities for leadership.
• Maintain pricing data integrity – ensure price lists, pricing tables, catalogue pricing, and ERP data are accurate, current, complete, and consistent with approved pricing practices.
• Query and validate data – use SQL or similar tools to pull, validate, and reconcile pricing, cost, and sales data across systems to support accurate analysis and reporting.
• Build pricing tools and reporting – develop spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical tools to evaluate pricing scenarios, markups, volume-based discounts, and pricing performance.
• Partner cross-functionally – work with Government, Commercial, Sales, Purchasing, Vendor Development, and other applicable teams to align pricing with business needs, vendor costs, contracts, and customer requirements.
• Advise on AeroAQ pricing structure – provide pricing analysis and recommendations to support the development and evaluation of the AeroAQ pricing structure.
• Support Aircraft Projects valuation – provide pricing analysis and valuation support for Aircraft Projects and other strategic pricing initiatives as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 2–4+ years of experience in pricing analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role; experience in aviation, aerospace, or industrial parts distribution preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling) and experience with BI/data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proficiency in SQL or a similar query language for extracting, validating, and analyzing data from ERP or business systems.

• Ability to work with large, multi-source datasets, ensuring accuracy and identifying trends, outliers, and data quality issues.

• Solid understanding of margin, markup, and cost structures, with the ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and pricing analysis to Sales, Purchasing, and leadership.

• Ability to manage multiple pricing requests and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (not required):

• Working familiarity with aviation parts terminology (e.g., rotables, consumables, PMA/DER parts, exchange and repair pricing).

• Experience with pricing, quoting, or ERP software used in parts distribution or MRO environments.

• Experience building automated reports, dashboards, or data pipelines (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Python) to support pricing or business analysis.

• Certification or coursework in pricing, data analytics, financial analysis, or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPP, CMA).

• Experience with government contracting, proposal pricing, or government cost/pricing requirements, including TINA/Certified Cost or Pricing Data and Economic Price Adjustments (EPA).
