We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, with a strong commitment to providing honest recommendations and repairing equipment whenever practical.We are seeking an experienced HVAC Home Comfort Advisor with a proven track record of residential HVAC sales.Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay: $17.00 per hour ($35360 annually)Commission: 3% - 4% - 6% - 8% (tiered / performance-based, uncapped)Annual earning potential up to $200,000 with uncapped commission Paid Holidays: 7 paid days per yearPTO / Sick Leave: earned at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (per California requirements)401(k): Company match up to 4%Health Benefits: 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental & Vision for employee onlyAdditional Perks: Company vehicle (or allowance), cell phone, and ServiceTitan tools providedPaid Time Off (PTO)1 week (5 days) during the first year2 weeks (10 days) after Year 13 weeks (15 days) after Year 24 weeks (20 days) after Year 5Benefits are subject to the company's current policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and are based on the employee's base compensation.Why Join Richard's Heating and Air Repair?Established local reputation with 25+ years in businessStrong referral and repeat-customer baseSmall business culture with direct access to ownershipPosition OverviewAs a Home Comfort Advisor, you will conduct in-home consultations, evaluate customer needs, present customized HVAC solutions, and close sales while delivering exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with homeowners for scheduled in-home consultations and sales appointmentsEvaluate existing HVAC systems and identify replacement/upgrade opportunitiesPresent customized solutions and financing options in personHandle all company-furnished leads professionally and communicate disposition to Sales ManagerGenerate at least 25% of your own leads through referralsBe in the office by 7:00 AM and call in every three (3) hours while in the fieldFamiliarize yourself with the company's payment terms and clearly communicate them to customers when a contract is signedMaintain accurate records in ServiceTitanConsistently achieve sales goals and high customer satisfactionImportant Agreement TermsIn consideration of the compensation and benefits package, the Home Comfort Advisor agrees not to contact or solicit business from any of the company's customers for a period of two (2) years following termination of employment.QualificationsActive California H.I.S. (Home Improvement Salesperson) License - RequiredMinimum 5 years of HVAC sales experience preferredProven track record in residential HVAC salesServiceTitan experience preferredStrong HVAC knowledge and excellent communication skillsValid California driver's license with clean recordWhat Success Looks LikeConsistently meeting/exceeding sales targetsHigh closing ratio and strong referral generationComplete and accurate sales documentationNo phone calls or office visits please.
