Since our founding in 1963, we have been served by only four pastors, reflecting a heritage of stability, faithfulness to Scripture, and long-term shepherding. Our church family averages approximately 180 in Sunday morning attendance and gathers weekly for Sunday School, Sunday morning and evening worship services, and Wednesday evening prayer. We are deeply committed to biblical preaching, discipleship, evangelism, missions, and corporate prayer. A central ministry of MBT is our Christian school, founded in 1975, which now serves nearly 400 students from preschool through 12th grade, along with a growing satellite campus. The school is a vital extension of our church’s ministry and outreach to families in our community. We support 20+ missionaries worldwide, primarily focused on church planting. Our music ministry includes choir and orchestra, and we are grateful for a congregation that values reverent worship, meaningful service, and community engagement. The church is currently debt-free and seeks to maintain a commitment to wise, biblical stewardship in all financial matters. He will shepherd the congregation through faithful preaching of the Word, clear biblical vision, and loving pastoral care. We are seeking a man who will lead with conviction and humility — one who honors our biblical foundation while helping us engage the culture around us with the truth of the Gospel and the next generation.Preaching & Teaching • Serve as the primary preacher of the church. • Faithfully proclaim and apply the Word of God with clarity and conviction. • Oversee the teaching ministries of the church to ensure biblical integrity. • Provide leadership for weekly services and ensure the pulpit is filled when unavailable. We value dynamic, Christ-centered preaching that feeds the flock, strengthens families, and advances the Great Commission.Spiritual & Organizational Leadership • Provide clear biblical vision for the church’s future. • Shepherd and care for the spiritual health of the congregation. • Administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • Provide oversight and direction to church ministries and staff. • Lead the selection, development, and oversight of church staff in collaboration with appropriate leadership • Exercise oversight of church finances in collaboration with deacons and leadership, promoting faithful stewardship and accountability.Church event promotionThe pastor is entrusted to develop, lead, and implement ministry objectives consistent with Scripture and our Statement of Faith.Worship & Ministry Culture • Thoughtfully evaluate means to reach our community and younger generations. • Hold firmly to biblical truth without compromise. • Lead change wisely, preserving unity while strengthening our Gospel witness. • Maintain a reverent and Christ-honoring atmosphere in worship services.
