Overview Temporary full‑time RN/Internal Agency assignment, 13 weeks, on stepdown and med/surg units at Methodist University Hospital. Pay $60.00 per hour. What You Will Do Provide practice excellence through specialized nursing assessment, care, evaluation, and education to patients and families. Promote evidence‑based practice by researching, implementing, and evaluating process standards such as care plans, protocols, and guidelines. Demonstrate leadership excellence in the clinical practice area. Show commitment to learning excellence through professional development and clinical expertise. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing. 1–3 years acute‑care experience, including at least two years in an acute‑care hospital setting. Skills & Abilities Flexible and versatile in meeting changing staffing demands. Analytical skills to assess complex patient conditions and develop comprehensive plans of care. Ability to synthesize multiple sources of information to resolve complex problems. Proficiency in applying highly technical nursing principles and concepts. Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support – American Heart Association Registered Nurse – Tennessee Board of Nursing Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support – American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support – American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification – American Heart Association Physical Demands Climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, repetitive motion. Exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 25 lbs frequently. Good visual acuity required; frequent invasive/non‑invasive patient contact. Exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials; ability to react quickly to emergencies. Availability Available to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the agreed commitment level.
