This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience seeking a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. You will support pharmacy operations at a 75-bed hospital, providing critical medication management across various departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, and outpatient oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify EPIC orders accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee technician work and answer pharmacist inquiries.
• Dispense inpatient unit dose medications, outpatient chemotherapy, and both inpatient and outpatient IV therapies.
• Manage medication needs for an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license and hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar healthcare IT systems preferred.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage concurrent responsibilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Experience with chemotherapy and IV medication preparation beneficial.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts.
• Weekend rotations involve 8-hour day shifts.

• Medford, WI

Assignment Details:

• Travel position.
• Immediate start.
• Duration of 13 weeks with possible extension.
