A per diem pharmacist role is available in a retail pharmacy environment offering flexible day shifts from 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM starting October 1st, with additional dates including October 2nd, 5th, and ongoing assignments. This position requires expertise in community or retail pharmacy practice and provides an opportunity to work with PioneerRx order entry system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients in a retail setting
• Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription order entry and management
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations
• Participate in immunization administration as required and in accordance with certifications

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy environments
• Strong familiarity with PioneerRx preferred
• Immunization certification is preferred to support patient vaccine services
• Spanish language fluency is a plus; primary translation support available through pharmacy technicians

Schedule:

• Day shifts: 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM on specified dates and as scheduled thereafter

This per diem opportunity allows pharmacists to work in a dynamic retail setting with a focus on patient interaction and pharmaceutical care.
