Our client, a leading organization in the foodservice industry, is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting sales and customer relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $24.17

What's the Job?

• Respond to incoming customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
• Process pick-up requests and assist with delivery routing and transportation questions
• Handle will-call orders efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide customers with invoice copies and process credits and adjustments as needed
• Maintain and update call lists, monitor orders prior to daily cut-off times, and communicate regularly with Account Executives and customers

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of customer support or sales coordination experience, preferably in foodservice or a related field
• Previous call center experience is preferred
• Strong telephone and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
