Coffing Electric is hiring a Lead Residential Electrician to take ownership of residential electrical projects and deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout Mount Vernon, Knox County, and nearby communities.
This role is ideal for experienced residential electricians who value clean work, strong communication, and professional service.
Position OverviewAs a Lead Residential Electrician, you’ll serve as the on-site lead for residential jobs, acting as the primary point of contact for homeowners while supervising apprentices and ensuring excellent workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Lead residential electrical projects from start to finish
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for homeowners
- Perform and oversee installs, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Supervise apprentices and ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and safety regulations
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional residential jobsites
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
- Strong residential electrical experience
- Leadership mindset with customer-facing confidence
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
