Medical Receptionist – Busy Medical Practice

• New Britain, CT Area | $22.00/hour | Contract-to-Hire 
• Full Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm)

A.R. Mazzotta is recruiting for Medical Receptionists to join a busy medical practice in the New Britain area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced medical front-desk professional who enjoys working with patients and being part of a busy, team-oriented office.

What Will Make You Successful

You’ll be working at the front desk, where you’ll be one of the first people patients see when they arrive. The ability to provide a prompt, professional and welcoming experience while keeping up with a busy workload will be important.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working at the front desk of a busy medical office
• A warm, professional approach when greeting and assisting patients
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude
• The ability to work the required schedule consistently
• Comfort working with computers and standard office systems
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism when handling patient information

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist patients arriving for appointments
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Update patient information and maintain accurate records
• Assist with general front-office administrative duties
• Communicate with patients and office staff throughout the day
• Help keep the front desk organized and running efficiently
