Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Credentials: Completion of an accredited surgical tech program required.

Preferred Credentials: CNA preferred.

Unit Details: Maternity center/OB tech role supporting cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and circumcisions. Expected to remain available on the unit for emergency C-sections. Role also includes mom/baby support tasks when needed, including baths/showers, vitals, hearing screens, patient rounds, intake/output, clerical duties, room turnover/OR cleaning, stocking instruments and supplies, point-of-care testing, and birth certificate/vital statistics documentation.

Shift & Scheduling: Includes one Saturday or Sunday each week plus 2 weekdays. No weeknight call. Potential weekend call with a 30 min or less response time. Holidays required to maintain 24/7 coverage with the other tech on the unit.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
