CNC Programmer

Top Job Located in Elyria, OH Salary: Based on Experience #LORAIN We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining knowledge, and the ability to work with engineering drawings and CAD models. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with machining and engineering teams. Pay: $25 an hour Responsibilities: Program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for quality, efficiency, and cycle time Utilize SolidWorks and CAD software to interpret and create part models and toolpaths Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality staff to ensure parts meet specifications Maintain documentation for programs, revisions, and processes Follow company safety practices and quality standards Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience Proficiency with SolidWorks and general CAD software Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling and/or turning) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining materials Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications: Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) Familiarity with multi-axis machining Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment Pay: $25 an hour Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM Apply online or at our office: Express can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you'll never have to pay a fee for our services and support.
