PCU RNs—Looking for a challenging, high-acuity travel assignment?

We're hiring experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses for the Resource Float Pool . If you thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and have Level I Trauma experience , this is an outstanding opportunity.

Position Highlights

• Position: Travel RN – PCU Float Pool

• Location: Tucson, AZ

• Contract: 13 Weeks (08/10/2026 – 11/07/2026)

• Schedule: 36 Hours/Week

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Level I Trauma Center

• Float Pool Position

You'll care for patients across:

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Intermediate Care (IMC)

• Medical-Surgical

• Observation Units

• Occasionally ED hold or PACU patients awaiting inpatient beds

Required Qualifications

✅ Active Arizona RN License (or compact license if applicable)
✅ Recent PCU experience in a large acute care hospital
✅ Level I Trauma experience (Required)
✅ Comfortable floating across multiple units and campuses
✅ BLS and ACLS (per facility requirements)

What You'll Do

• Care for high-acuity adult medical and surgical patients.

• Manage cardiac monitoring, drips, and complex patient conditions.

• Float where patient care needs are greatest while maintaining exceptional clinical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across both campuses.
