Laundry Assistant Manager


Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Laundry Assistant Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation relating to the laundry department and will administer the supervision of all laundry attendants.


As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love -guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll help lead a team that ensures linens, towels, and uniforms consistently meet Kalahari's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation. By supporting associates, optimizing daily operations, and maintaining an efficient laundry process, you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless guest experience and providing the resources associates need to succeed.

Pay Rate - $22 - $24/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing of linens, towels, uniforms, and other resort textiles.
• Lead, coach, and support laundry associates while promoting a positive, safety-focused, and service-oriented team culture.
• Monitor linen quality, cleanliness, and inventory levels to ensure resort standards are consistently met.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and staffing assignments to meet operational demands and occupancy levels.
• Assist with training, performance coaching, and development of laundry associates to support departmental success.
• Ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and cleanliness of laundry equipment while reporting repair needs promptly.
• Maintain inventory of laundry chemicals, supplies, and operating materials, assisting with ordering and stock management as needed.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and infection prevention and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other resort departments to ensure timely delivery and availability of clean linens.
• Support departmental reporting, quality inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

• We require you have a background consisting of previous housekeeping or laundry department supervisory experience in a large hotel/resort, convention center, amusement park, or related industry.
• Must have a broad understanding of the tourism and day-to-day operations of a large volume hotel/resort.
