We go beyond soccer, focusing on character development, confidence, and creating the best 30–45 minutes of a child's week. We coach at daycares, preschools, elementary schools, community centers, and parks throughout Lakewood, Bellflower, and surrounding areas. This is a fun, active, and flexible part-time role where no two days look exactly the same. What You'll Do: Coach 4–15 fun, engaging soccer sessions per week for children ages 2–10 Deliver our expertly designed, age-appropriate curriculum — provided for you! Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Represent Soccer Shots as a trusted community presence in Lakewood and surrounding areas Schedule & Commitment: Saturday mornings are required Weekday shifts available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM based on your availability Ideal availability: 2–4 weekdays plus Saturday mornings Same locations, same times each week — once your schedule is set, it stays consistent Minimum 1-year commitment required Who You Are: Passionate about working with children and child development Safety-conscious — the safety of every child is your #1 priority Caring, energetic, and engaging with an outgoing personality Responsible and committed — you don't need constant oversight Prior experience working with children ages 2–5 and/or Early Childhood Education units strongly recommended Requirements: Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required Ability to travel between program sites across Long Beach and Southeast LA Compensation & Benefits: $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) Flexible, consistent schedule Free uniforms Paid training and professional development Opportunities for advancement within the organization Employee discounts This is a part-time.
