Youth Soccer Coach

Position available: Soccer coach for children aged 2-6. What is TinyTykes? TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn introductory skills through fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 minutes each. Our soccer experts and child‑development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow, which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer while also developing their motor, social, and psychological skills. Information Classes run Monday through Saturday, lasting 45–60 minutes each session. Typical times are 9 a.m.–11 a.m. and/or 1 p.m.–3 p.m. Coaches will be provided with a uniform, equipment, training, and a curriculum to follow. TinyTykes offers flexible part‑time hours and the opportunity to work in a rewarding, fun environment. Classes typically take place at preschools and sports complexes and run for 6–8 week blocks. Compensation $16–25 per hour, pay based on experience level. Location Coach to work in locations in Long Beach and surrounding areas. Requirements In‑date Criminal Background Checks. Must have up‑to‑date vaccinations. Must have up‑to‑date current first‑aid procedures. Must have experience working with children of this age group. It is essential you are personable with a highly energetic and enthusiastic persona when engaging with the children and colleagues you create relationships with. Playing experience in soccer is preferred but not required. Must have your own transportation.
