Electric Distribution Quality Assurance Specialist

We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.We are actively hiring an Electric Distribution Quality Assurance Specialist for our Electric Over Head/Underground departments. This position will be based out of our Commerce City, Colorado office.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for performing field audit functions for all divisions and all products in assigned territory.Assists in training functions as directed by Corporate.Investigates instances of non-conformance and facilitates the determination of the root cause.Provides input to management and assists in the evaluation and effectiveness of the quality assurance program.Assist in developing performance objectives and standards.Additional duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Bachelor Degree in business or related preferred or High School Diploma with five years previous utility construction experience required.Experience in underground installation, hard and soft surface restoration and/or traffic control.Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for input and output of data.Knowledge of computers and Windows based software, or the ability and willingness to learn.Ability to identify and suggestion resolution of problems in a timely manner.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective communication skills, both oral and written.Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve all issues satisfactorily.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.Treat people with respect and uphold the organizational values.Follow policies and procedures and complete tasks correctly and timely.Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines.Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.Solid communication skills and reasoning ability.Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees, supervisors/foremen, vendors, suppliers and customers.An understanding of utility distribution.The ability to provide timely, accurate and professional documentation.Effectively provide guidance, maturity and foster positive attitudes about the job and the company.Attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all types of people.A demonstrated willingness to work hard and at times physically demanding work in the elements.Some of the physical demands are:Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily and continual basis.Ability to drive on a stop and start basis daily and continually.Lifting, placing of materials, standing, walking – particularly on uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.Close vision is required for some functions and distance, and peripheral vision is required for safety.Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Compensation and Benefits:Q3 Contracting provides competitive market pay, with a comprehensive benefit package that includes:$105,000 - $130,000/ year, depending on experienceCompetitive compensation paid weeklyState of the art office spaces and warehousePaid Time Off, Holiday Time Off, and Community Service Paid Time OffMedical, Dental and Vision insurance401(k) with Generous Company Match, vested day-oneCompany-paid Disability InsuranceCompany-paid Life InsuranceEmployee Stock Purchase Plan [ESPP]Tuition ReimbursementPet Coverage "For our Furry Friends"Legal Assistance CoverageQualified Veterans, Minorities and Women encouraged to apply.#IHCompany Overview:Primoris Gas Operations, which consist of companies such as Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson and Pipejacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience working in the natural gas distribution industry.
