Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: $50.00–$65.00 per hour, plus monthly spiffs and performance bonuses. Premium shifts can earn up to an additional $15.00 per hour.

A day in the life

You start your morning in a fully stocked company service van, iPad synced, routes planned. Your first stop: a homeowner concerned about low water pressure and a leaky fixture. You diagnose the cause, walk the customer through their options with clear, honest recommendations, and complete a repair that restores full function. Midday, you coordinate with an HVAC crew on a remodel, ensuring DWV tie-ins meet the Minnesota State Plumbing Code. An apprentice shadows you this afternoon—you mentor them through best practices, safety protocols, and clean craftsmanship. You finish strong by documenting work on your tablet, communicating next steps, and leaving the workspace cleaner than you found it.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential water supply systems, DWV lines, fixtures, and piping networks.
• Educate homeowners on system health and present clear, long-term service options.
• Build trust through proactive communication on progress, scope, and maintenance recommendations.
• Collaborate with other trades on active jobs and mentor apprentice plumbers on site.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards in alignment with local codes, trade protocols, and OSHA requirements.

What you bring

• Active Minnesota Journeyman license in good standing (strongly preferred); advanced 3rd or 4th year apprentices encouraged to apply.
• Minneapolis/St. Paul Competency Cards (preferred).
• Working knowledge of the Minnesota State Plumbing Code.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable record.
• Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset.

Available schedules

• Standard Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Premium Shifts (earn up to $15.00 more per hour plus guaranteed 32 hours):
  • Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–9:00 PM
  • Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
