Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR) Technician position located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures, including complex surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting, carotid procedures, and endovascular repairs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Lubbock, Texas
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE)
  • Education: Not specified
  • Experience: At least 2 years of consecutive experience in Cardiovascular surgery
  • License: Compact license must be in hand at submission
  • Additional Requirements: Previous OR experience in cardiovascular procedures, familiarity with EMR system Epic, willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with trauma level I and II surgeries, community hospital experience, or additional certifications relevant to cardiovascular surgery
• Additional Information:
  • Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
  • Candidates must include responses to prior work at Providence facilities if applicable and provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
