Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour (06:45 - 15:00). On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays. Reduced orientation period of 8 hours. Assignment duration: 13 weeks (91 days).

• Work in a 379-bed Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Reduced non-billable orientation for experienced travelers
• 22-room cardiovascular operating room department with advanced surgical capabilities
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Current BLS, CST, and NBSTSA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery, including cardiothoracic and vascular procedures
• Previous travel experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Valid state license (Compact license accepted; must be in hand at time of submission)
• Demonstrated proficiency in CABG, CVOR procedures, endovascular repairs, valve replacements, and thoracic surgeries
• Two professional references covering one year of recent experience required
• Must be willing to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
