Job Description The Project Coordinator supports project delivery by assisting with the development of project plans, schedules, and timelines, and by handling day-to-day coordination activities. This role serves as the main point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution of tasks. The Project Coordinator tracks tasks, deliverables, and deadlines to maintain accountability, generates progress reports for leadership and stakeholders, and helps coordinate resource allocation and availability to keep projects moving forward on time and within scope. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines for assigned initiatives. Handle daily coordination tasks, including managing emails, scheduling meetings, and overseeing logistics. Act as the primary point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure clear and timely communication. Track tasks, deliverables, and deadlines to maintain accountability and support on-time project completion. Generate progress reports and status updates for the Project Manager and stakeholders. Help coordinate resource allocation and monitor resource availability to support project needs. Make quality day-ahead calls on each ticket to confirm details and expectations. Complete check-in and check-out calls for technicians and project activities as required. Review and approve deliverables and work requests in the project system to ensure accuracy and completeness. Answer queue calls and respond to technician status updates and requests through the queue. Ensure technicians assigned to your tickets arrive on time and are prepared for their work. Manage technicians progress throughout the day, addressing issues and escalating as needed. Obtain customer approval for all out-of-scope work and clearly document the approvals. Manage on-time check-out of technicians for each project and service ticket. Close orders in the system and accurately record all out-of-scope work performed. Essential Skills Demonstrated project coordination experience with responsibility for schedules, logistics, and communication. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Superior customer focus and relationship-building skills to support positive interactions with clients, technicians, and stakeholders. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to resolve issues and make sound judgments under time constraints. Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Solid analytical and presentation skills to interpret information and present status updates effectively. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving project objectives. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure. Proficiency in scheduling meetings and coordinating project-related activities. Experience with project coordinating, project scheduling, and project planning. Familiarity with infrastructure-related projects or environments. Additional Skills and Qualifications Experience working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional project teams. Experience in coordinating vendor activities and technician schedules. Comfort using ticketing or queue-based systems to manage work requests and technician assignments. Ability to document out-of-scope work clearly and obtain necessary customer approvals. Capability to generate and maintain progress reports and status documentation for stakeholders. Interest in developing leadership and management skills within a project environment. This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
