We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Junction City. In this role, you’ll provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy that helps residents safely communicate, eat, and live with greater independence and dignity. What We Offer YOU $8,000 signon bonus for fulltime positions Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) FullTime, PartTime, or PRN scheduling options Supportive interdisciplinary team environment Meaningful work where outcomes truly matter What You’ll Do as Our Speech Therapist Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional communication and safe swallowing Provide therapy to improve speech intelligibility, cognitive functioning, and swallowing safety Utilize alternative or augmentative communication methods as appropriate Modify diet textures and implement oral motor exercises to improve swallowing outcomes Set shortterm and longterm goals aligned with physician orders and resident needs Educate residents and families to support carryover and functional independence Advocate for residents’ rehabilitation needs and participate in quality assurance initiatives Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress accurately per regulatory standards Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and physician teams to ensure coordinated care What We’re Looking for in YOU Master’s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited university Current state SLP licensure Experience in longterm care or skilled nursing preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations Compassionate, patientfocused approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr Tallgrass Healthcare
